Baby Naming Ceremonies Brisbane
Naming ceremonies have been around for centuries to celebrate the birth of a child and welcome them into the family and wider community. A naming ceremony is typically a non-religious alternative to a christening and is a lovely way to gather your family together and welcome your child.
It is not only for babies though; you might also welcome an older child or an adopted child not to mention a house or boat.
It is an opportunity to acknowledge siblings, grandparents and friends who will also play a significant role in your child's life and appoint godparents or other guardians.
You can read poems, share stories, offer blessings, exchange gifts and make promises as you formally give your child their name.

Elizabeth, from our first conversation I could tell how kind hearted and lovely you are. Then when we met, my husband and I knew that you would be the perfect celebrant to conduct our daughter’s naming ceremony. Although we had no idea how to set the ceremony out, you had awesome suggestions and put together the perfect ceremony. You assisted us greatly, as we had family issues along the way while planning the day, and were constantly in contact with us to ensure the ceremony was just right! After the ceremony, all our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how well Elizabeth spoke. In fact one couple asked if you do weddings and I gave them your business card!
You are truly a beautiful woman Elizabeth, and a terrific celebrant! Thank you for all your hard work and for making Mia's day have such wonderful memories.

We sought Elizabeth for our son Jakob's naming ceremony. It was for his 1st birthday and we wanted to do something special for our special little man. We contacted Elizabeth and once I spoke to her I knew Elizabeth was the one to help make Jakob's day special. We were in contact via email throughout the planning and Elizabeth was able to make suggestions if we got stuck for ideas. On the day, the ceremony Elizabeth had prepared was perfect. It was everything we could imagine and more. Elizabeth was very approachable and had a real understanding of what we wanted and our family. Our eldest daughter was also included in the ceremony and Elizabeth had made her a special Big Sister certificate. Amanda absolutely loved this, and we appreciated this special touch also. We would love to thank Elizabeth and her husband for helping to make Jakob's special day wonderful. f
